The Asatex CoverStar CS500 is a disposable protective coverall designed for work where clothing needs to withstand airborne particles and liquid splashes. Its three-piece hood, two-way zip with a double-layered, taped closure, and elasticated cuffs, ankles and waist create a suit that fits snugly to the body while still allowing plenty of freedom of movement. Thumb loops keep the sleeves securely in place during overhead work or bending.
The suit is made from a PP nonwoven fabric with a microporous film laminate, a material that stays light and comfortable against the skin while forming a continuous barrier against dust and splashes. One detail that pays off during actual use is the back waist elastic, which is glued rather than sewn in – it won't tear loose at the seams, giving lasting fit even with repeated bending and stretching. The antistatic finish also makes the suit a sensible choice in environments where static build-up is a concern.
Tested to EN 14325, the CS500 meets the requirements of PSA Category III as Type 5B and Type 6B. In practical terms, this means the suit protects against fine airborne solid particles as well as light liquid spray and minor splashes – suitable for dusty work or occasional contact with liquids, though it is not designed as a barrier against hazardous chemicals.
The CS500 is well suited to industrial and trade work, cleaning and remediation jobs, and any task involving regular exposure to dust, paint, oils or similar substances.
