The CoverBase® SMS-3 protective coverall is a disposable overall designed for work where clothing comes into contact with dust, particles or splashes. It is aimed at trade users who need dependable single-use protection in larger quantities, and is supplied as bulk packaging from 50 units upwards, making it a cost-effective choice for equipping whole teams or covering recurring jobs.
The fabric is a multi-layer SMS nonwoven made from polypropylene, combining spunbond and meltblown layers. This construction keeps the suit light to wear while still resisting tearing, so it moves well with the body during everyday tasks rather than restricting them. The three-piece hood with elastic, together with elasticated cuffs, ankles and waist, keeps the suit close to the body and closes off gaps where dust or dirt could otherwise get in. A two-way zip with a protective flap makes the suit easy to put on and take off while keeping the zip area shielded from contamination.
Tested to EN 14325, the coverall meets the requirements of PPE Category III as Type 5 and Type 6. Type 5 covers protection against fine solid particles such as dust, while Type 6 covers protection against light liquid splashes. In practical terms, this makes the suit suitable for environments with dust exposure or occasional contact with liquids, such as cleaning, remediation and painting work, as well as industrial settings where disposable protective clothing is preferred for hygiene or convenience.
