The CoverTex® CTHO trousers are disposable protective trousers designed for work environments where clothing wears out quickly, gets dirty, or simply needs to be discarded after use. Aimed at commercial users who need reliable disposable protection in bulk, they are supplied as pack goods with a minimum order of 50 units, which makes budgeting straightforward for businesses.
The trousers are made from a multi-layer SMMS polypropylene nonwoven fabric. This layered construction makes the material sturdier than a simple single-layer nonwoven while keeping it lightweight and comfortable to wear. An elasticated waistband ensures a secure fit, and the generous cut allows plenty of freedom of movement, useful when bending or working in awkward positions. The antistatic treatment reduces static build-up in the fabric, which is particularly helpful in dusty or sensitive work settings.
Tested to EN 14325 and classified as PPE Category III, Type PB 6, the trousers offer limited protection against splashes and fine particle ingress, matching the supplier's description of them as limited splash-proof.
