The CoverTex®FR C-3FR is a flame-retardant disposable coverall designed for work environments that demand both particle protection and reliable coverage. Its three-piece hood, elasticated cuffs, ankles and waist, plus the two-way zip with storm flap, keep the suit close to the body and closed against gaps where contamination could get in.
The coverall is made from multi-layer SMS polypropylene nonwoven fabric with a flame-retardant finish. This makes it light to wear over regular workwear while still holding up to demanding shifts, and the antistatic treatment stops the fabric from building up static charge, which matters in dusty environments or wherever sensitive equipment is nearby.
It is tested to EN 1073, a standard covering protective clothing against contamination by radioactive particles, and classified as PPE Category III, Type 5 and 6. In practice this means protection against fine airborne particles and limited exposure to liquid splashes, with the flame-retardant fabric adding a further layer of protection where sparks or brief heat exposure are a risk.
That combination makes the C-3FR a fitting choice for industrial and chemical facilities, decontamination work, operations in nuclear environments, and any task where particle protection needs to go hand in hand with flame resistance.
