The CoverChem®200 is a disposable protective coverall designed for work where contact with chemicals, blood, viruses or other biological hazards is possible. The three-piece hood, the sealable chin flap and the elasticated cuffs, ankles, hood and back keep the suit close-fitting during movement so no exposed areas are left. Thumb loops hold the sleeves securely in place, keeping the suit properly positioned even during extended wear and changing postures.
The fabric is a PP nonwoven with polymer coating, offering a lightweight feel while still forming a solid barrier. The seams are taped and the zip flap is double-layered with an additional adhesive strip, reinforcing the seams and closure areas against penetration. The 2-way zip makes putting the suit on and taking it off easier, while the antistatic finish makes it suitable for tasks where electrostatic build-up is a concern. In practice, this means a suit that stays comfortable to wear despite its protective function, without feeling stiff or overly heavy.
Tested to EN 14325 and classified as PPE Category III, Type 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B, the coverall protects against liquid spray and fine particles as well as light liquid splashes and contamination by solid particles. The B-rating specifically indicates biological protection against infective agents, making the suit suitable for handling blood, viruses and other biological hazards. This makes it a practical choice for healthcare settings, cleaning and disinfection work, waste handling, and any task involving inorganic chemicals or infectious materials.
