The CoverFlash CF510 from Asatex is a disposable protective coverall designed for work environments where contact with biological hazards or infectious agents is a possibility. It suits industrial and commercial users who need dependable protection against particles and pathogens without sacrificing freedom of movement. A collar, thumb loops and a two-way zip with a protective flap make the suit easy to handle during everyday tasks.
The fabric is made from polyethylene produced using flash-spun technology, a process that creates a nonwoven material that is both lightweight and resistant to tearing, with a smooth, closed surface. In practice, this means a suit that feels light to wear while holding up well under everyday strain. Elasticated cuffs at the arms, legs and waist, combined with internally taped seams, keep the suit close to the body and prevent gaps at these critical points.
The CF510 is tested to EN 14126, the standard for protective clothing against infectious agents, and classified under PPE Category III as Type 5B and Type 6B. Type 5 covers protection against solid airborne particles, while Type 6 covers protection against light liquid splashes, both confirmed for biological hazards through the B classification. This makes the suit suitable for tasks where exposure to pathogens, fine dust or liquid splashes is a genuine risk, such as cleaning, waste handling or work in medical-adjacent settings.
