These Blaklader work trousers are built for anyone in trades, on the road or on the shop floor who needs to kneel, bend and move freely without their trousers getting in the way. The relaxed fit gives plenty of room to move, while the well-thought-out pocket layout, with front pockets, a rear pocket with flap, a ruler pocket and a three-part pen pocket on the leg pocket, keeps tools and accessories within easy reach. A loosely hanging phone pocket can be fixed in place when needed, and a D-ring holds the ID card holder.
The outer fabric, a 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill weighing 300 g/m², is built to handle the wear and tear of daily work: tough enough for industrial and service environments, yet comfortable to wear all day. At the knees, CORDURA® reinforcement on the knee pockets means the trousers cope with frequent kneeling on hard surfaces without wearing through too quickly. A robust metal zip runs through the crotch seam, and a button waistband with front pleat adds extra comfort during movement.
Certification to EN 14404 confirms the protective performance of the knee pockets when combined with the matching knee pads, and is particularly relevant for work carried out in a kneeling position, such as flooring or ground-level installation work. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification and the MADE IN GREEN label confirm that the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and produced under verified environmentally responsible conditions.
That makes these trousers a solid choice for tradespeople, drivers, mechanics and cleaning staff who spend much of their working day kneeling, bending and moving between different work settings.
