This Blaklader craftsman shorts is the short version of the proven 1799 craftsman trousers, built for anyone who needs freedom of movement on the job without giving up smart pocket organisation. Whether you work as an electrician, sheet metal worker, gardener or warehouse operative, these shorts are cut for daily tool use, with a reinforced ruler pocket and knife holder, a bellows-style leg pocket and a removable ID pocket keeping everything within reach.
The fabric is a durable polyester-cotton twill weighing 300 g/m², combined with stretch panels at the front, yoke and crotch. In practice this means a mix of toughness and mobility: the 4-way stretch at the front and 2-way stretch in the crotch move with you through squats and lunges, while CORDURA® reinforcement on the rear pockets protects the areas that take the most wear on site. Metal buttons, a plastic zip in the crotch and a triple-stitched inside leg seam add further durability for everyday use.
Wide belt loops at the back and sides, an extra hammer loop and a D-ring on the waistband make the shorts genuinely practical when tools need to stay close at hand. A reflective detail on the leg pocket adds visibility in low light. Certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and carrying the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, these shorts suit anyone who values workwear that has been tested for harmful substances.
