These craftsman shorts from Blaklader are built for anyone who refuses to trade freedom of movement for hot weather comfort: electricians, sheet metal workers, gardeners or warehouse staff who are on their feet all day and still need their tools within easy reach. The shorts pair a lighter 2-way stretch base fabric with 4-way stretch panels exactly where bending and reaching demand the most flexibility.
The outer fabric is a blend of polyester, cotton and Elastofin in a twill weave, made up at 260 g/m² – sturdy enough for daily work on site, yet light and breathable to wear. The pocket layout is built around actual tool use: reinforced bellows leg pockets with hook-and-loop flaps, a ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen slot, and bellowed rear pockets for extra storage. Everyday details include a removable ID pocket, loops on both sides for a hammer holder, and a D-ring on the waistband for attaching further gear.
Reflective details on the leg add visibility in low light on site or in the warehouse. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances and is safe to wear directly against the skin.
With sizes from C44 to C64 and six colour options ranging from forest green to black, the shorts suit individual tradespeople as well as entire crews.
