The craftsman shorts with stretch from Blaklader are built for anyone who needs freedom of movement on the job without giving up rugged functionality: tradespeople, electricians, sheet metal workers, gardeners and warehouse staff will find a shorts version with thoughtful details rather than a stripped-down basic. The fit is regular, available in six colours and 22 sizes from C44 to D24.
The base fabric is a lighter 2-way stretch material made from 63% polyester, 33% cotton and 4% Elastofin in a twill weave, weighing 260 g/m². That keeps the shorts light to wear even on warm days. Where the workload is heaviest, such as at the knees, Blaklader switches to sturdier 4-way stretch fabric and adds CORDURA® reinforcement on the knee pad pockets and tool pockets. The result is a garment that stays tough where it counts while remaining flexible and light everywhere else.
The shorts come with lined knee pad pockets for knee protectors, reinforced leg pockets with hook-and-loop fastening and an inner mesh phone pocket, a pencil pocket, reinforced back pockets, and a sturdy ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket. Also useful on site are the tool pockets with tool holders, loops for a hammer holder on both sides, and the D-ring on the waistband. Reflective details on the leg improve visibility in low light. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
