These combi trousers from Blaklader are built for floor layers, though they work just as well for tilers, bricklayers, installers or roofers who spend much of their day kneeling and need their tools within reach. The standout feature is the CORDURA®-reinforced knee pad pockets, backed up by a tool layout that leaves little to search for: a ruler pocket with knife holder and pen slot, a leg pocket with phone and ID compartments, loose nail pockets at the back, tool pouches that attach to the front pockets, plus a chisel and hammer loop.
The fabric is a 65% polyester, 35% cotton twill weighing 300 g/m², a sturdy trade-grade material that balances freedom of movement with shape retention. Stretch fabric on the back adds comfort when bending or kneeling, and adjustable straps let you fine-tune the fit. The concealed metal zip at the front and the metal buttons give the trousers a solid, well-made feel, while the triple-stitched inside leg seam is built to handle sustained wear.
Combined with Blaklader knee pads 4027, 4032, 4057 or 4058, the trousers meet EN 14404-3, the standard covering knee protection during kneeling work - a key point for floor layers and tilers, who spend a large part of their working day in exactly that position. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and carries the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, indicating textiles tested for harmful substances and produced with environmental responsibility in mind.
Available in grey, the trousers come in sizes C94 to D24, covering a wide range of body types for professional use on site.
