This sleeveless bib overall from Blaklader is built for tradespeople who need to carry a lot of gear on site while still moving freely. Bricklayers, tilers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, mechanics and floor layers will appreciate the well-planned pocket layout, including a ruler pocket with knife holder and pen pocket, a leg pocket with pencil, phone and ID compartments, tool pockets front and back, and loose-hanging chest pockets with snap fasteners and safety straps. The bellowed front pockets can also hold extra clip-in tool pouches.
The outer fabric is a twill weave made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton at 300 g/m², giving it a sturdy feel suited to daily work on construction sites or in the workshop. Reinforced seams at the crotch and a triple-stitched inseam keep the garment from wearing out quickly under kneeling or bending work, while the stretch panel at the back improves freedom of movement when reaching or crouching. The knee pockets are additionally reinforced with CORDURA®, making them noticeably more resistant to abrasion during kneeling tasks. Metal buttons, a concealed plastic zip fly and an extendable shoulder section round out the practical construction.
Combined with knee pads 4027, 4032, 4057 or 4058, this overall meets EN 14404-3 for knee protection, meaning the knees get extra protection during kneeling work. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and carries the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, indicating it has been tested for harmful substances and produced with greater environmental responsibility.
