These combi trousers from Blaklader are built for anyone who spends the day moving between kneeling, bending and climbing while needing gear close at hand: bricklayers, tilers, roofers, installers, mechanics and floor layers will find a trouser designed around real jobsite tasks rather than just another pair of work pants.
Made from a sturdy cotton twill weighing 370 g/m², the fabric delivers the kind of durability expected from classic tradesman workwear, while a stretch panel at the back gives noticeably more freedom of movement when bending or kneeling than a rigid weave would allow. The knee pockets and seat pockets are reinforced with CORDURA®, a highly abrasion-resistant material that adds extra strength exactly where kneeling and dragging on site wear trousers out fastest. Metal buttons, a concealed plastic zip fly and a triple-stitched inner leg seam round off a construction built to withstand daily heavy use.
What really stands out in everyday work is the thought-out pocket layout: a ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, a leg pocket with pencil, phone and ID compartments, and separate tool pockets front and back keep tools and small items within reach without constant trips back to the workbench. The tool pockets can even be tucked into the front bellows pockets when not needed, while the loosely hanging chest pockets with press studs and safety straps keep contents secure during overhead work. An expandable shoulder section and a side hammer loop complete a design made for daily use on site or in the workshop.
