This softshell work trouser from Blaklader is designed for anyone working outdoors in wind, cold or rain and needing freedom of movement on the job. Whether you're an electrician, plumber, gardener or warehouse worker, the fully softshell construction flexes with every movement, making it a genuine all-rounder for outdoor work.
The outer fabric is a three-layer softshell with a high elastane content, giving it a soft, stretchy feel while staying windproof. With a water column rating of 11,000 mm, the trousers stay dry even in sustained rain, yet never feel stuffy thanks to their breathable construction that lets moisture escape. The knee pad pockets and tool pockets are reinforced with CORDURA®, adding durability exactly where the wear and tear is greatest.
The trousers are also well thought out in terms of everyday functionality: alongside reinforced nail pockets, there are extra zip pockets for secure storage, an easily accessible stretch-fabric phone pocket, and a ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket. A subtle black reflective stripe on the leg and leg pocket adds visibility without being obtrusive. Combined with matching knee pads, the trousers also meet the requirements of EN 14404-3.
