This pair of bib overalls from Blaklader is built for tradespeople who need their tools close at hand and properly protected throughout the working day. Whether you work as a bricklayer, tiler, electrician or mechanic, the well-thought-out arrangement of leg, chest and seat pockets turns these overalls into a genuine multi-functional workwear piece. Two loosely hanging chest pockets with press studs and safety straps, one with a flap and one with a pen pocket, keep small items secure, while the leg pocket with pleated gusset, flap, pen pocket, extra pocket, phone pocket and ID pocket covers almost everything needed on site.
Made from 100% cotton twill weighing 370 g/m², the fabric offers the toughness that trade work demands while still feeling comfortable and breathable to wear all day. The knees and seat pockets get extra reinforcement from CORDURA®, making these high-wear areas noticeably more resistant to abrasion and scuffing. A strong metal zipper at the crotch and a triple-stitched inseam are built to withstand heavy daily use, and the wide, extra-strong braces with quick-release buckles go on and off fast without digging into the shoulders.
The knee pad pockets are tested to EN 14404-3 in combination with knee pads 4027, 4032, 4057 or 4058, the standard covering knee protection for kneeling work, so anyone spending a lot of time on their knees, such as when laying tiles or flooring, can fit the matching pads and work to a recognised safety standard. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and carries the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label, confirming a controlled production process that has been checked for harmful substances.
With extras such as a hammer loop, knife holder, D-ring for an ID card holder and nail pockets that slip into the front gusset pockets, these overalls suit trades that need to carry a lot of tools at once, from plumbers and sheet metal workers to drivers and floor layers.
