These bib overalls in 4-way stretch fabric are made for tradespeople, electricians, sheet metal workers and anyone who needs real freedom of movement on the job. The lighter fabric moves with you when bending, kneeling or reaching overhead, making it a solid choice for work that involves constantly changing positions. Detachable holster pockets plus an extra zippered tool pocket keep tools within reach, while still allowing a cleaner fit when the pockets aren't needed.
The fabric is a double-woven polyamide and elastane blend weighing 230 g/m², striking a balance that suits long working days without feeling heavy. The knee pockets are made from CORDURA® stretch fabric, and the same reinforcement extends to other hard-wearing areas such as the back pockets, ruler pocket and lower leg hem – strengthening exactly the spots that take the most punishment when kneeling, carrying loads or working close to the ground. The leg ends can be extended when needed, which is useful for a more tailored fit, though this option doesn't apply to the D sizes.
The knee pockets, together with the matching knee pad, are tested to EN 14404-3, a standard covering knee protection during kneeling work – in practice this means the pockets, combined with the appropriate inserts (4027, 4032, 4057 or 4058), provide reliable cushioning and protection for the knees, for example when laying flooring or doing ground-level installation work. Reflective details on the legs also improve visibility in low light.
With its tool pockets, reinforced ruler pocket and knife holder, this bib overall suits tradespeople, electricians, sheet metal workers, gardeners and warehouse staff who need to keep a full set of tools close at hand on site.
