The Blaklader Service softshell trousers are designed for the colder months and suit anyone working outdoors or in cold environments where wind and moisture are a constant factor. Drivers, mechanics, warehouse staff and service technicians who move in and out of vehicles or cold rooms all day will appreciate a trouser that keeps them warm without restricting movement. The regular fit is paired with pre-shaped legs that follow the natural leg position, giving extra freedom when bending, climbing or sitting.
The fabric is a 3-layer softshell made from 92% polyester and 8% elastane, which is where the stretch comes from that lets the trousers move with the wearer during physical work. At 265 g/m², the material feels substantial without being bulky, and stays soft against the skin. Waterproof up to 11,000 mm and windproof by design, the fabric keeps out rain and cold draughts reliably, while a Ret value of 20.0 keeps it breathable enough to avoid overheating underneath. The fabric is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances.
Practical details include an inner ruler pocket and phone pocket, rear and side pockets, and bellowed leg pockets for extra storage. A pen and knife pocket and a D-ring at the waist add further utility, while a rubber-coated metal button and a plastic zipper at the crotch improve comfort and durability. Reflective details on the leg add visibility in low-light conditions.
Available in dark navy and black, the trousers come in a wide size range from C94 to D24 and are offered in versions for both men and women, since the model is based on the men's fit adapted for women.
