Product information "Thermal Parka Newcastle"
The Newcastle thermal parka is built for anyone who works outdoors through cold, wind and rain and needs a jacket that actually holds up to it. With its detachable storm hood, high fleece collar and well-thought-out pocket layout, it is designed for daily practical use rather than looks alone.
The outer shell is made from durable, abrasion-resistant nylon Taslan fabric with a PU coating that stands up to rough outdoor conditions without adding bulk. Inside, the polyester wadding, the polar fleece lining across the chest and back, and the quilted taffeta lining in the body and sleeves provide noticeable warmth, while the welded seams keep moisture from creeping in at the seams. The adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening and knitted inner cuffs also stop cold draughts from reaching up the sleeves.
With a water column of 8,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h, the parka is both windproof and waterproof while still letting body moisture escape instead of trapping it inside. The double storm front placket with the underlying two-way YKK zip further seals off the front against wind.
With seven pockets in total, including a phone pocket in the lining, an inner pocket with a pen holder, and an ID card holder on a detachable key lanyard, the Newcastle suits people working outdoors, on construction sites, or in warehouse and logistics roles who need tools, ID and phone close at hand. Reflective piping on the front, back and sleeves adds extra visibility in low light.
