The Niklas is a 2-in-1 high-visibility jacket built for anyone working outdoors in wind, rain and cold who also needs to be seen. The removable quilted liner effectively turns it into two jackets in one: the lightweight outer shell is enough on milder days, while the warming inner layer with ribbed cuffs adds extra insulation once temperatures drop. That makes it a genuine year-round jacket instead of needing separate gear for summer and winter.
The Oxford polyester outer fabric with breathable PU coating keeps out wind and moisture without trapping heat inside, and it's also finished to resist oil and dirt. Cordura® reinforcements on the sleeves, shoulders and hem protect exactly the areas that take the most wear on site, whether that's climbing, carrying loads or leaning against vehicles and machinery. Welded seams keep the waterproofing intact where stitching would otherwise let moisture through. Adjustable width at the waist, hem and cuffs, plus action pleats at the back, leave plenty of room to move, while zipped underarm vents let excess heat escape quickly.
With a 10,000 mm water column and breathability rated at 5,000 g/m²/24h, the jacket meets EN 343 Class 4/1/X, with the outer shell alone even reaching Class 4/4/X — in practical terms, reliable protection against rain combined with good moisture transport to the outside. The segmented, heat-sealed reflective strips meet EN ISO 20471 Class 3, keeping the wearer visible from a distance in low light or poor visibility. EN ISO 13688 confirms it meets the general requirements for protective clothing.
With eight outer pockets, including a large chest pocket and two inside pockets, plus a detachable storm hood with fleece lining, the jacket is built for long shifts in road construction, general building work, winter maintenance or municipal services. The concealed two-way YKK® zip with hook-and-loop closures and the straightforward logo attachment also make it a practical choice for companies applying their own branding.
