The Siegfried hi-vis pilot jacket is built as a 4-in-1 garment for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors through changing weather. The collar and sleeves are detachable and the pile lining can be removed entirely, turning the padded winter jacket into a lighter transitional jacket or a sleeveless vest whenever conditions call for it. A hood built into the collar means no extra accessory is needed when rain sets in.
The outer fabric is PU-coated Oxford polyester with welded seams, keeping it windproof and waterproof without feeling stiff or heavy to wear. A water column rating of 2,000 mm combined with breathability of 2,000 g/m²/24h keeps rain out while letting moisture escape from inside, which makes a real difference in comfort during physical work outdoors. The Velcro-adjustable cuffs with knitted inner cuffs and the knitted hem help the jacket sit close against wind, and the generous pocket layout, including a sleeve pocket, chest pockets, side pockets and an inner pocket, leaves plenty of room for tools, a phone and paperwork.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, making it suitable for work with high visibility demands such as roadside tasks or low-light conditions; when only the vest is worn, it meets Class 2. EN 343 Class 4/1/X confirms its resistance to rain penetration and its water vapour resistance, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. This makes the Siegfried a practical choice for road construction, logistics, winter maintenance work or any job where both weather protection and visibility matter.
