Product information "Forestry Softshell Jacket Schlehe"
The "Schlehe" softshell jacket is built for forestry workers and anyone who spends their working day outdoors facing wind and rain, without giving up freedom of movement. The bold yellow/red/black colourway boosts visibility on site, in the forest or on the yard, backed up by 3M Scotchlite reflective piping that keeps you noticeable in poor light.
The outer fabric is a 3-layer laminate made from 100% polyester that is both windproof and waterproof while still letting moisture escape. A hydrostatic head of 5,000 mm means the jacket copes well with heavy rain, and breathability of 2,000 g/m²/24h lets sweat vent outward instead of building up inside. Heavy-wear areas get extra ripstop reinforcement, which noticeably extends the jacket's service life under tough daily use. The concealed YKK front zip with a hook-and-loop storm flap seals out water and cold at the closure, while pre-shaped sleeves and an extended back panel keep the fit comfortable during overhead work or bending without pulling or riding up.
Small details add up to real everyday usability: the sleeve cuffs and hem adjust with hook-and-loop fasteners to suit the weather, a chin guard stops the zip from chafing, and the removable, adjustable hood fits different head sizes and needs. A zipped chest pocket, two zipped side pockets and several inner pockets give plenty of secure storage for tools and personal items.
This jacket suits forestry and woodland workers in particular, but also landscaping, gardening and construction crews and anyone who works outdoors in all conditions. Available in sizes S to 4XL, supplied in packs of 5, making it a practical choice for equipping whole teams.
