The Oliver hi-vis pilot jacket is a versatile jacket for anyone working outdoors in changing weather who also needs to stay visible on the job. Its 4-in-1 design lets you adapt the jacket to conditions: the collar and sleeves are detachable and the pile lining can be removed, turning one jacket into a lighter shell or a warm winter coat depending on what the day requires. A hood built into the collar adds extra protection against rain without needing a separate garment.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester in Oxford quality with a PU coating, making it tough and water-repellent, while welded rather than stitched seams keep moisture from getting in at the seams. With a water column of 2,000 mm and breathability of 2,000 g/m²/24h, the jacket stays weatherproof during extended outdoor work without trapping heat underneath. Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening and knitted inner cuffs, plus a knitted hem, keep wind from creeping in at the wrists or waist. Eight pockets in total, including chest, side, inside and a zippered sleeve pocket, leave plenty of room for tools, a phone and personal items.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, keeping the wearer clearly visible even in poor light, with the separate vest reaching Class 2 on its own. It is also certified to EN 343 Class 4/1/X for protection against rain and water vapour resistance, making it suitable for continuous outdoor use, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. A shoulder reflector adds further visibility from multiple angles.
This makes the pilot jacket well suited to road construction, logistics, building sites and any job where both high-visibility protection and weather protection matter. The zip-in badge feature also makes it a practical choice for companies looking to outfit staff with a consistent, branded look.
