The Herwin hi-vis parka is a weatherproof high-visibility jacket built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors in all conditions, from road works to traffic control to construction sites. A detachable storm hood, an adjustable waist and the option to zip in jackets 22422 or 22423 as an inner layer let it adapt to the season and the job at hand.
The 100% polyester ripstop outer fabric is windproof and waterproof, resistant to abrasion and tearing, and includes a slight mechanical stretch that noticeably improves freedom of movement on the job. With a water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 10,000 g/m²/24h, it keeps the wearer dry through heavy rain and hard physical work without trapping moisture inside. The elastic mesh lining adds all-day comfort, and high-wear areas are finished in a contrast colour for reinforced durability where it matters most.
The EN ISO 20471 Class 3 rating is the highest visibility class for roadside work, making the wearer clearly recognisable from a distance, an effect reinforced by the segmented, heat-sealed reflective strips for use in low light. EN 343 Class 4/4/X confirms tested protection against rain penetration and water vapour resistance, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. In practice, this means reliable protection against wet weather, wind and poor visibility during demanding outdoor work.
