The Rufus 2-in-1 hi-vis jacket is built as a true two-in-one solution: a windproof, waterproof outer shell combined with a removable, warming quilted lining that zips out when not needed. That makes it a year-round jacket, suitable from cool autumn days through to winter outdoor work, and a solid choice for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected on construction sites, road works or traffic duty.
The outer shell is made from 100% polyester Oxford fabric with a breathable PU coating, keeping rain out reliably while letting body moisture escape rather than building up underneath. Cordura® reinforcements on the sleeves, shoulders and hem toughen up the areas that take the most wear, and welded seams keep water from seeping through the stitching. The concealed two-way YKK front zip with hook-and-loop storm flaps is easy to operate even with gloves on. Everyday details such as zippered underarm vents, adjustable waist, hem and cuffs, and a detachable storm hood with fleece lining let the jacket adapt to changing weather and movement on the job.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, the highest visibility class, intended for people exposed to significant risk from traffic or vehicle movement. EN 343 Class 4/1/X covers protection against rain and water penetration, with the outer shell alone rated even higher at 4/4/X when worn separately. EN ISO 13688 confirms it meets the general requirements for protective clothing. With a 10,000 mm water column and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h, the jacket copes with sustained rain while keeping the wearer dry from the inside too.
This combination of weather protection, warmth and high-visibility rating makes Rufus well suited to road and civil engineering work, emergency services, outdoor logistics, and any job that means working outside in changing conditions all year round.
