The Sanddorn softshell jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in demanding weather who needs freedom of movement and reliable protection at the same time. Whether in forestry, on construction sites or other outdoor jobs, the jacket is designed to handle rough conditions and comes with plenty of practical details, from multiple pockets to adjustable fittings, for everyday work use.
The outer fabric is a 3-layer laminate with a high polyester content and a touch of elastane, giving good freedom of movement without compromising on durability. It is highly abrasion-resistant and rugged, so it holds up well against contact with branches, tools or rough surfaces. Inside, a fleece lining keeps things comfortable to wear, even over longer periods or in cooler conditions. The hem and cuffs are made from tough Oxford fabric, and together with the hook-and-loop cuff fastening and adjustable collar, the fit can be tailored to the wearer.
Thanks to the 3-layer laminate, the jacket is windproof and waterproof while remaining breathable, with a water column rating of 8,000 mm and breathability of 1,000 g/m²/24h, keeping moisture out while letting body heat escape. The zips are also waterproof, so heavy rain stays outside. Reflective piping on the front, back and sleeves improves visibility in low light, useful for early mornings or work in dense forest.
With a chest pocket, additional hand-warmer pockets, side hip pockets and various internal pockets, the jacket offers plenty of storage for tools, radios or personal items, and the chin guard at the zip end makes putting it on and taking it off more comfortable. Available in sizes S to 4XL, it is particularly suited to forestry workers, landscapers and anyone needing weatherproof, functional workwear for outdoor jobs.
