The Kratos® tool lanyard connects hand tools securely to a tool attachment point on the user's fall arrest or restraint harness. It is designed for anyone working at height who needs to prevent tools from being dropped, protecting people below and avoiding damage to the tool itself. The lanyard extends up to a maximum length of 1.20 metres and, weighing just 0.138 kg, stays light and unobtrusive on the harness.
The lanyard is fitted with a stainless steel karabiner with a 7 mm gate opening, which clips reliably onto standard attachment points and holds up to daily use on construction and installation sites. A maximum retraction force of 1 kg means the lanyard retracts noticeably but without pulling uncomfortably when the tool is not in use. It is recommended for tools weighing up to 5 kg, making it suitable for most hand tools used in construction and installation work.
The lanyard is used wherever work takes place at height and falling objects pose a risk, such as on scaffolding, mobile elevating work platforms or roofs. It suits roofers, scaffolders, electricians and other trades that rely on extra tool security as part of their fall protection setup. For trade buyers, the item is available in packs of 50, making it easy to equip entire teams at once.
