The Kratos® aluminium carabiner is a connector designed for fall protection as well as climbing and rope access work where a reliable, tamper-resistant closure matters. Its triple-acting automatic lock requires three separate movements to open, virtually ruling out accidental release under load and making it suitable for use on fall arrest systems and in work at height.
Made from aluminium, the carabiner stays light on the harness or lanyard without compromising on strength. A 21 mm gate opening allows it to be clipped onto standard anchor points and eyelets, and the stated breaking strength of 23 kN gives a clear reference point for its load-bearing capacity in an emergency.
The carabiner is certified to EN 362 Class B, the standard for connectors used in personal protective equipment against falls from height, and to EN 12275 Class B/H, which applies to connectors used in mountaineering and climbing equipment. Together these standards confirm the strength and functional reliability required for professional work at height.
This makes the carabiner a practical choice for roofers, scaffolders, rope access technicians and anyone regularly working with fall arrest systems. It is supplied in a pack of 100 units, making it well suited for equipping entire teams from a single order.
