The Kratos® crane jib set is a complete fall protection kit designed for work on crane jibs and similar elevated work areas. It suits professionals who need a ready-to-use combination of harness and shock absorber without having to source and match the individual parts themselves. The set includes the 2-point basic full body harness and the DOUBLE lanyard shock absorber, both matched to work together, and comes packed in a practical backpack that makes transport and storage on site or in the vehicle straightforward.
The harness is made from polyester with steel fittings. This combination gives a sturdy setup that still stays flexible enough to move with the body, so it sits securely even during longer periods of work at height. The steel fittings are built to absorb the forces involved in a fall and to withstand the wear of frequent use.
The set meets EN 361, the standard for full body harnesses that governs how the body is held and supported when a fall is arrested, and EN 355, which applies to the lanyard shock absorber and covers how the energy of a fall is reduced to limit the impact on the body. Together, both components form a fully certified fall arrest system for work where a fall hazard is present.
This makes the crane jib set well suited to work on and around crane jibs, as well as other elevated tasks that call for a complete, ready-to-deploy fall arrest system, such as construction, installation work, or maintenance on elevated equipment.
