The Kratos® 4-point premium fall arrest and restraint harness is built for anyone working at height who needs both fall protection and secure work positioning in one piece of kit. With four attachment points, D-rings on the back and centred on the chest strap, plus an additional front attachment point, it covers fall arrest as well as holding the wearer in place at the work position. The universal size and infinitely adjustable leg straps make it practical for different body types and ways of wearing it.
The harness is made from durable polyester with steel fittings, giving it the strength needed for daily use on construction sites and industrial jobs. The wide, padded back support noticeably spreads the load during longer periods of wear, easing strain on the shoulders and back. Three quick-release automatic buckles on the chest strap and an additional quick-release fastener mean the harness goes on and comes off fast, without wasting time during changeover. Four tool loops and three tool rings on the restraint belt hold karabiners and accessories, so equipment stays within reach instead of buried in a pocket.
The harness meets EN 361 for fall arrest harnesses, which safely distributes the forces on the body in the event of a fall, and EN 358 for work positioning belts, which allow the wearer to be held securely in place without a free fall. Together, these two standards cover the most common requirements for work at height where both fall protection and positioning are needed. The harness is rated for use up to a body weight of 140 kg.
This makes it well suited to roofers, scaffolders, electricians and installers working at height on construction sites or in industrial settings, who need to be both secured and able to move freely into position.
