The Kratos® door anchor bar is a mobile anchor point designed to be wedged directly into a door frame, providing a reliable attachment point wherever a permanent anchorage is not available. It fits door frame widths from 600 to 1250 mm and can support two people at the same time, making it a practical choice for jobs where more than one worker needs to be secured simultaneously.
Made from aluminium, the bar weighs 4.75 kg, striking a balance between sturdiness and ease of handling on site. At 1.6 m in length, it adapts to a range of door situations and can be set up and removed again without leaving permanent fixtures. A dedicated carrying bag is included, so the bar can be transported compactly between job sites.
The anchor bar is certified to EN 795 Type B and TS16415:2013 Type B, the standards covering transportable anchor devices. It has a breaking strength of 20 kN and a static strength of 13 kN, figures that confirm it delivers the load-bearing performance required of a fall-protection anchor point. This makes it a fitting solution wherever a certified anchor point is needed temporarily at a doorway without structural modification, for example during maintenance work, height rescue operations, or on construction sites with changing access points.
