Product information "Kratos Aluminium Carabiner with Keylock"
The Kratos® aluminium karabiner with keylock is a connecting element for fall protection applications, designed for anyone who needs reliable yet lightweight hardware for working at height. The keylock design keeps the gate from catching on webbing or anchor points, making it noticeably easier to handle on site.
Made from aluminium, the karabiner is light to carry and handle while still offering solid strength. Its triple-action automatic locking gate, known as Triple-Lock, requires three separate movements to open and then closes itself automatically. This guards reliably against accidental opening, for instance if the karabiner brushes against clothing or structural parts during work. With a 19.5 mm gate opening, it fits standard anchor points and connection eyes.
The karabiner is tested to EN 362 Class B, the standard for connectors used in fall arrest systems. Its breaking strength of 23 kN indicates the load the component can withstand in a real fall, an important reference point when selecting fall protection equipment.
The item is supplied in packs of 100, making it a practical choice for companies that regularly equip staff with fall protection gear or need to keep connecting hardware in stock as a wear part.
