This mobile anchor point from Kratos® is designed for fall protection on steel beams and is aimed at specialist contractors and safety officers who need reliable anchor points for fall arrest systems or rescue equipment on construction sites or in industrial settings. Thanks to its rollers, the device can be moved along the beam, allowing the anchor point to be repositioned flexibly across the work area instead of being fixed in a single spot. Its construction is built for beam widths from 80 to 250 mm, covering a wide range of common steel profiles.
Made from aluminium and stainless steel, the anchor point combines low weight with the stability needed for fall protection applications. At around 3.90 kg, it is relatively easy to carry and install without compromising on load capacity. The steel ring, with an inner diameter of 55 mm, serves as the attachment point for harnesses, lanyards or rescue winches, providing a secure and clearly defined connection point.
The anchor point is certified to EN 795 Type B, the standard for mobile anchor devices that are not permanently fixed to a structure. It confirms that the device can safely absorb the forces generated in the event of a fall, with a stated breaking strength of 23 kN and a static strength of 12 kN. This makes the anchor point suitable for use in personal fall protection systems, for example when working on steel structures in construction and industrial settings, steel fabrication, or maintenance work on beam profiles.
