The Kratos® single lanyard with scaffold hook is a connecting element for personal fall protection, designed for anyone who needs to be secured within a fall arrest system on scaffolding, roofs or other elevated work areas. It combines a built-in energy absorber with a scaffold hook, allowing it to be clipped directly onto suitable anchor points.
The lanyard is made from a braided 11 mm polyamide rope that offers a secure grip and holds its shape reliably even under frequent use. The fittings are made of steel, giving the scaffold hook the strength needed for daily use on construction sites. Thimbles at the end connections improve abrasion resistance at the most heavily loaded points, and the seams are protected beneath a transparent sheath, shielding them from weather exposure and mechanical wear.
Certification to DIN EN 355 confirms that the integrated energy absorber limits the forces acting on the body in the event of a fall, reducing the risk of injury. At a length of 1.5 metres, the lanyard is suited for use in fall arrest systems as required in scaffolding work, roofing and other tasks involving a risk of falling. The item is supplied in a pack of 12, making it a practical choice for equipping entire teams.
