This connecting lanyard from Kratos® is designed for work positioning at height and suits anyone who needs a secure yet freely adjustable hold on site. The aluminium rope adjuster allows stepless length adjustment up to a maximum of 5 metres, so the user can position themselves flexibly at the workplace without having to change equipment.
The kernmantle rope is made of 12 mm polyamide, giving it the strength and grip needed for daily use on construction sites or scaffolding work. The loops are reinforced with an abrasion-resistant thimble that protects the rope from wear where it meets the two aluminium karabiners, extending the rope's service life. A tough, transparent sleeve covers the stitched ends, shielding the seams from abrasion while still allowing a visual check of the stitching without removing the cover, a practical feature for routine inspections.
The lanyard is certified to EN 358, the standard for work positioning and restraint lanyards, as well as to EN 795 Type B and Type C, which set requirements for anchor devices. In practical terms, this means the lanyard is built to hold the user securely in place at the workstation rather than to arrest a free fall. It comes complete with one aluminium karabiner with screw lock and one aluminium karabiner with a double-action automatic lock, both lightweight yet robust enough for everyday site use.
