Product information "Kratos Lanyard Carabiner"
This lanyard connector from Kratos® links a full body harness to an anchor point and forms a core part of fall protection equipment. It is designed for tradespeople and companies working at height on scaffolding or roofs who need reliable, standards-compliant connecting equipment for restraint or work positioning systems.
The lanyard is made from a braided 11 mm polyamide rope combined with steel fittings. Polyamide offers high tear resistance while staying flexible enough for comfortable handling, so the rope does not feel stiff when clipping in or guiding it through fittings. Thimbles fitted at the rope ends protect the fibres at the point of greatest wear, extending the working life of the lanyard on site.
The lanyard is certified to EN 354, the standard covering connecting components used in fall protection systems. It confirms that the rope can withstand the loads involved in holding a person safely when used correctly together with a harness and anchor point. At 1.5 m long, it suits typical scaffolding work and tasks at height where a defined range of movement from the anchor point is required.
Supplied in packs of 50, this item is well suited to procurement teams stocking fall protection equipment for multiple workers or sites at once.
