The Farlan hi-vis rain jacket is built for anyone who needs to stay visible in traffic or on construction sites while facing real weather conditions. It combines high-visibility protection with genuine weatherproofing, making it a solid choice for workers who need more than just a signal colour on a rainy day.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester in a ripstop weave with a breathable PU coating, giving the jacket strong resistance to abrasion and tearing without adding bulk or stiffness. Welded seams keep water out at the stitch lines, while the mesh inner lining keeps things comfortable during longer shifts. Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop closures, a drawcord hem and the three-piece hood with a pre-shaped peak allow the fit to be tailored to body and weather, and the underarm zip vents let heat escape quickly during physical work.
On the protection side, the jacket meets three standards. EN ISO 20471 class 3 is the highest visibility class for jackets, ensuring the wearer stands out clearly even in poor light. EN 343 class 4/4/X rates both waterproofness and breathability at the top level, which lines up with the jacket's 10,000 mm water column and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24h – meaning it stays dry in heavy rain while letting moisture escape from inside. EN ISO 13688 sets the general requirements for protective clothing, confirming that the construction and materials meet standard safety expectations.
With two zipped side pockets, a chest pocket and an inner pocket, the Farlan offers enough storage for tools and personal items, making it well suited to road and civil engineering work, traffic control, municipal services and any outdoor job where visibility and weather protection both matter.
