The Blaklader WARM leggings are a thermal base layer built for anyone working outdoors in freezing conditions. As dual-function garment they combine two materials with different jobs, making them a strong choice for craftsmen, gardeners and fishermen who spend their days exposed to wind, rain and cold.
The two-layer construction is what sets these leggings apart in daily wear: the inner layer of polypropylene wicks moisture away from the skin, while the outer layer of fine merino wool absorbs it, so the fabric never feels cold and damp against the body. At 235 g/m², the ribbed knit is a heavyweight design, noticeably warmer than lightweight thermal underwear. An elastic waistband and cuffed leg endings keep the leggings in place without pinching, and the external label avoids any scratching against the skin.
The wool content meets the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning the garment has been tested for harmful substances, a detail that matters for underwear worn directly against the skin. Recommended for temperatures between -5°C and -30°C, these leggings are suited to winter work outdoors, from building sites to fishing boats, wherever long hours outside mean dealing with cold and moisture as a matter of course.
