These craftsman shorts from Blaklader are built for anyone who wants proper storage and rugged durability, even in warm weather. Electricians, plumbers, mechanics and concrete workers will recognise the classic craftsman design, complete with a ruler pocket, hammer loop and a generous set of tool pockets designed around real jobsite needs.
The fabric is a heavyweight 370 g/m² twill made from 100% cotton, the kind of material long associated with traditional workwear: hard-wearing, comfortable against the skin, and substantial enough to keep the shorts in shape under load. CORDURA® reinforcement on the back pockets protects exactly the areas that see the most wear, while a metal zip, metal buttons and triple-stitched inner leg seams point to construction meant to withstand daily use on site.
Storage is where these shorts really stand out. Alongside pleated back pockets and pleated front pockets, there's a ruler pocket with a knife holder and pen pocket, a pleated leg pocket with a flap and pen pocket, and a separate phone and ID pocket. The tool pockets, complete with screwdriver compartments, can be tucked into the pleated front pockets when not needed, and the side hammer loop keeps your most-used tool within reach. A front loop with a D-ring and a wide loop at the back round off the practical detailing.
