The Blaklader Industry Shorts is the short-leg version of the well-known Industry Trousers 1444, made for tradespeople, mechanics, warehouse workers and cleaning staff who need dependable workwear for warmer days. An elastic waistband and scratchfree fabric let the shorts move with the wearer while protecting sensitive surfaces from damage, a detail mechanics in particular will appreciate when working around painted panels or delicate components.
Made from a 2-way stretch fabric of 63% polyester, 33% cotton and 4% Elastofin in a twill weave at 260 g/m², the shorts combine durability with genuine freedom of movement. The fabric stretches in both directions, which makes a real difference when bending, climbing or working in tight spaces, and it holds up to industrial washing, making it a practical choice for businesses running their own laundry service. Hidden metal buttons and a concealed zip fly further reduce the risk of scratching surfaces during work.
The pocket layout is built around real jobsite needs, with an inner ruler pocket and phone pocket, gusseted leg pockets with a flap, plus a rear pocket with flap and a concealed pocket with hidden zip for secure storage of valuables. The inseam is reinforced with triple stitching to withstand daily wear, and a D-ring rounds off the functional details.
