The X1500 pirate-style shorts from Blaklader are the short-leg version of the well-known X1500 range, made for craftsmen, electricians, installers and mechanics who need full functionality even on warm days. They carry all the features of the X1500 series, but in a noticeably lighter fabric that makes them far more comfortable to wear.
The shorts are made from a sturdy 100% cotton canvas weighing 270 g/m². It feels grippy and durable on the skin while staying breathable in summer heat. Cordura reinforcements on the ruler pocket, tool pockets, seat, leg pockets, thighs and knees add extra toughness exactly where the trousers take the most wear on site. Reinforced seams at the crotch and a triple-stitched inseam extend the working life further, and the fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances.
Storage is built entirely around tool use: bellows-style back pockets, an extra-wide Cordura-reinforced ruler pocket with pen holder and knife loop, knee pad pockets, angled front pockets and tool pockets with loops that let tools be tucked in directly. A leg pocket with double zip compartments, a pen pocket and an internal mesh phone pocket add further storage, along with a zipped thigh pocket. A hammer loop, a detachable ID card pocket and a front D-ring on the belt loop complete the practical setup, while pre-shaped, ergonomic legs give freedom of movement on site or in the workshop.
