The Blaklader Service Shorts is the short version of the well-known Service Trousers 1457, built for anyone who needs freedom of movement on the job without giving up a rugged, workwear look. Whether you're a tradesperson, mechanic, warehouse worker or service professional, this shorts is designed as a men's model but also available for women, and its slim, close-fitting cut suits a wide range of working environments.
It's made from a stretch denim blend of cotton, polyamide and elastane, with additional 4-way stretch panels at the crotch, front and seat. In practice, that means the fabric moves with you when you crouch or stretch, rather than holding you back. A scratch-resistant coating adds extra durability for jobs involving rough surfaces or tools, while the elasticated waistband with drawstring keeps the fit comfortable all day long, no belt required.
The shorts is also well thought out in terms of storage: an inner ruler pocket and phone pocket, side and gusseted leg pockets, plus a pen and knife pocket, offer plenty of room for tools and personal items. Concealed magnetic buttons on the fly and a plastic zipper at the crotch complete the functional details, while a D-ring on the waistband allows extra gear to be attached.
