The RUNNEX® SportStar is an S3S safety shoe that combines a sporty design with the demands of modern protective footwear. It's built for anyone who wants genuine wearing comfort in their daily work without compromising on protection. The modern styling in olive/black/beige gives it a look that stands apart from traditional safety shoe design.
The upper is made from hydrophobic textile material, which repels moisture and keeps the shoe feeling dry even in changing conditions on site. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining supports a pleasant foot climate throughout the working day. The combination of a rubber outsole and Phylon midsole provides noticeable cushioning, which makes a real difference during long hours on your feet or on hard flooring.
When it comes to protection, the SportStar is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 S3S FO, the current standard for safety footwear. Its toe cap, made from RUNNEX® Composite-Protection, guards against impact and compression at the toe while staying lighter than a traditional steel cap. The penetration resistance is metal-free, reliably protecting against sharp objects underfoot without adding unnecessary weight. As Category II PPE, the shoe is designed for medium-level workplace hazards.
