The RUNNEX® ActionStar (item 5354) is an S3S safety shoe with ESD capability, purpose-built for industry and trades. It suits anyone looking for a lightweight, flexible safety shoe for all-day wear without sacrificing protection or comfort. Available in black/blue across 13 sizes from 36 to 48, it covers a wide range of wearers.
The upper, made from hydrophobic microfibre and textile material, keeps external moisture at bay, while the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining inside keeps feet feeling fresh throughout the day. The RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds further comfort around the heel area. Combined with its light weight and flexibility, the shoe is noticeably comfortable for wearers who are constantly moving or standing through long shifts. The transparent PU outsole with black PU midsole and RUNNEX cushioning further support a smooth, steady stride.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in safety class S3S FO, the shoe protects against mechanical hazards to the foot and toe area, resists water penetration and features a fuel-resistant outsole. Additional certification to EN 61340-5-1:2016 and DGUV112-191 confirms its ESD properties, meaning the shoe safely dissipates electrostatic charge to protect sensitive components and work environments from unwanted discharge. As category II PPE, it is designed for professional use.
This makes the ActionStar particularly suitable for workplaces in industry and trades where ESD protection is required, such as electronics manufacturing or sensitive assembly areas.
