The RUNNEX® TeamStar is an S3S safety shoe with ESD protection from the latest generation of the RUNNEX® activeBumper series. It's built for anyone who needs reliable safety footwear without compromising on comfort, whether working in industry, skilled trades or on electrostatically sensitive workstations. Its timeless black/blue design makes it a discreet fit for almost any working environment.
The upper is made from hydrophobic smooth leather, treated to repel water, and reinforced with an abrasion-resistant toe protection material for a durable base that holds up to demanding conditions. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining helps keep the foot climate balanced, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. The 2-density PU/PU sole combined with RUNNEX® activeBumper cushioning made from VESTAMID® PEBA foam noticeably absorbs impact while walking and standing, a difference you'll feel over long shifts.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 in safety class S3S FO, the shoe protects against mechanical hazards to the foot, features a penetration-resistant sole and offers fuel resistance. The additional EN 61340-4-3:2001 certification confirms its ESD properties, meaning it safely dissipates electrostatic charge, making it suitable for use on electrostatically sensitive workstations. Classification under DGUV112-191 further confirms its suitability as workplace safety footwear.
