The RUNNEX® S3S ESD lace-up safety boot ActionStar is built for anyone working in industry or skilled trades who needs dependable foot protection, including at ESD workstations. Its black-grey-orange design with 3D printing gives the boot a modern look while also hinting at the technical features built into it.
The upper combines hydrophobic textile material with 3D printing and a toe protection material, while a microfibre lining inside keeps things comfortable against the foot. The RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining helps maintain a balanced foot climate throughout the shift, and the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. A coloured PU outsole with a black PU midsole rounds off the construction, providing a cushioned, resilient base for long working days.
The boot meets EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in the S3S FO SR LG ESD version, offering protection against mechanical hazards such as impact and compression at the toe, a penetration-resistant sole, and slip-resistant properties. The additional ESD rating under EN 61340-5-1:2016 ensures controlled dissipation of electrostatic charge, which matters at sensitive workstations. DGUV112-191 also applies, and the boot falls under PPE category II.
This makes the ActionStar a strong fit for industry and trade, ESD workstations, and both indoor and outdoor environments, wherever safety, static dissipation and comfort all need to come together.
