The RUNNEX® S3S ESD Safety Shoes ActionStar are designed for anyone working in industrial or trade environments who needs dependable foot protection without sacrificing comfort. The striking black-grey-orange design marks it out as a modern safety shoe suited to both indoor and outdoor use, including ESD-sensitive workspaces. Available in 13 sizes from 36 to 48, it offers a fit for nearly every foot.
The upper combines hydrophobic textile material with 3D-printed detailing, plus toe protection material and microfibre elements. In practice, this means moisture is kept out rather than soaking into the shoe, keeping feet dry even as conditions change throughout the day. The RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining supports a comfortable in-shoe climate, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra grip and cushioning around the heel. The coloured PU outsole with black PU midsole delivers the shock absorption needed for long shifts on hard flooring.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in class S3S FO, the shoe protects against mechanical hazards, resists penetration and water, and offers slip resistance (SR) along with fuel oil resistance (FO). Its ESD properties, certified to EN 61340-5-1:2016, allow static electricity to discharge in a controlled way – essential wherever sensitive electronics are handled. The shoe also meets the requirements of DGUV112-191 and falls under PPE category II.
This makes the ActionStar a strong choice for workers in industry, skilled trades and ESD-sensitive environments who move between indoor and outdoor settings and need a shoe that combines safety, comfort and static protection in one package.
