The RUNNEX® SpecialStar is an S3 safety lace-up boot designed for anyone who needs a dependable companion through a full working day on site, in the workshop or outdoors. It pairs a timeless, understated look with genuine wearing comfort, making it a strong choice for tradespeople, industrial workers and anyone on their feet for hours who still expects reliable protection.
The hydrophobic smooth leather upper resists moisture and dirt, while the abrasion-resistant toe protection material shields the most heavily stressed part of the boot. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining works together with the Sympatex membrane to move moisture away from the foot while keeping water out — a difference you notice on long outdoor shifts or in changing weather. The dual-density PU/PU sole combined with Evo's activeBumper cushioning technology takes pressure off feet and joints with every step, which matters most during extended periods of standing or walking.
As a safety boot certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 WR, the SpecialStar delivers all-round protection: the aluminium toe cap guards against impact and compression, the penetration-resistant sole stops sharp objects from below, and the WR rating confirms that the whole boot is waterproof. That makes it a solid option for wet conditions and demanding ground, and it also meets the requirements of DGUV112-191.
