The RUNNEX® S3S-ESD safety boot atop FlexStar is built for anyone who needs both fast wearability and dependable protection. The atop quick-lace system replaces conventional lacing, letting the boot be put on and taken off quickly without sacrificing fit or stability. This makes it a strong choice for work routines where safety footwear is put on and off frequently throughout the day.
The upper is made from full-grain, waxed cowhide leather with additional toe protection material, giving the boot a tough yet supple base. Reflective elements improve visibility in low-light conditions. Inside, the RUNNEX® SPORTY functional lining provides a comfortable feel, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra cushioning around the heel. The grey PU outsole with black PU midsole and RUNNEX® cushioning helps reduce strain during long periods of standing or walking.
On the safety side, the boot is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in class S3S FO, which covers features such as toe protection, a penetration-resistant and fuel-resistant sole, and water resistance. It also meets EN 61340-5-1:2016 for use at ESD workstations, where controlling electrostatic discharge is essential, as well as DGUV112-191. As category II PPE, it protects against medium-level workplace hazards.
This makes the boot well suited to industrial and trade environments as well as sensitive ESD workstations that require controlled electrostatic discharge. Its rugged construction supports use both indoors and outdoors.
