The RUNNEX® SportStar is an S3 safety shoe with a sporty cut that looks just as good on the shop floor as a modern casual trainer. It's built for anyone who needs dependable foot protection at work without giving up contemporary styling and everyday comfort.
The upper is made from hydrophobic nubuck and smooth leather, giving it water-repellent properties that hold up well outdoors in damp conditions. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps the foot climate pleasant, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining provides secure fit and a soft feel around the heel. The rubber outsole with Phylon midsole adds noticeable cushioning, making long hours on your feet or hard flooring considerably more comfortable.
As an S3 shoe certified to EN ISO 20345:2011, the SportStar delivers all-round protection for daily work: the RUNNEX® Alu-Protect aluminium toe cap guards against impact and crushing injuries, while the S3 rating also covers penetration resistance and a slip-resistant, water-repellent build. Classified as PSA category II, it's designed for medium-risk work environments.
This makes the SportStar a solid choice for industry and trade work as well as for changing conditions between indoor and outdoor settings, such as on construction sites, in workshops or production halls.
