The Lukas hi-vis softshell jacket is a padded winter jacket built for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected while working outdoors in wind, rain and cold. Thanks to its removable quilted liner, it works as a two-in-one solution: worn with the liner it becomes a warm winter jacket, and without it a lighter softshell for milder conditions. Adjustable cuffs, a width-adjustable hem and a detachable hood let it adapt to different working conditions and preferences.
The outer fabric is a 3-layer softshell laminate made from 100% polyester that is both windproof and waterproof while remaining breathable, so heat doesn't build up during physical work. With a water column of 5,000 mm and breathability of 1,000 g/m²/24h, the material keeps rain out effectively while still letting moisture escape. The soft fleece lining on the inside of the outer shell feels comfortable against the skin, while the tough, abrasion-resistant softshell fabric holds up well under demanding site conditions. A YKK® front zip with a storm flap rounds off the solid construction.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, the highest visibility class for warning clothing, thanks to extensive reflective material across the front, back, shoulders and sleeves that ensures strong visibility in daylight and after dark. The reflective strips are heat-sealed rather than sewn on, so there are no extra seams where water could get in. The jacket also complies with EN ISO 13688, the general standard for protective clothing.
With four pockets, including a chest pocket and an inner pocket in the liner, plus a design that makes adding logos or emblems straightforward, this jacket suits road construction crews, municipal services, general building and civil engineering trades, and any workplace where staying visible in all weather is essential.
